KEISHOU SQUARE

Design concept

The sharpened shape symbolize a design of Michio Akita, and it has a sophisticated atmosphere in the neutral form. when the light is turned on, it shows a fantastic appearance like a moon in reversal. The name comes from “a firefly lights water grass.”

Why the washbowl shines?

LED shines the whole body from inside of the ceramics. A manufacturing method called casting made it possible to make space in the ceramics. It’s shines not because the ceramics is thin, but it’s made of special material and it has 8mm thickness.

Designer's voice

I want to create “super standard design” which means “To make a thing what should be there but it’s not there yet”.
